On the far side of the distant Moon, the Chang'e-6 probe is carrying out an unprecedented mission - collecting lunar soil and rock samples from the South Pole-Aitken Basin. At the same time, a precision device called a six-dimensional force sensor is providing crucial technical support for this great lunar exploration program.

Chang'e-6, as the sixth probe in China's Chang'e lunar exploration program, has a mission objective that goes beyond just collecting lunar samples. It also aims to overcome key technological challenges such as the design and control technology of lunar retrograde orbits, intelligent sampling technology on the far side of the moon, and takeoff and ascent technology from the far side of the moon. In this process, the six-dimensional force sensor plays an indispensable role.

In addition to the landing and sampling processes, the six-dimensional force sensor also plays an important role in the patrol and scientific research tasks of the Chang'e-6 probe. Through the six-dimensional force sensor installed on the rover, scientists can monitor the movement status and stress conditions of the rover on the lunar surface in real time, providing strong support for the rover's path planning and mission decision-making. At the same time, the six-dimensional force sensor can also be used in the detection and research of the lunar geological structure, providing valuable data support for scientists to reveal the mysteries of the moon.
